Kia Teses Superman-Themed Optima for Chicago Auto Show

2013 is the perfect year to be a Superman fan. A brand new movie called "Man of Steel" is coming out and it appear to have the same down-to-earth feel as the Dark Knight movie.

Kia didn't miss a beat and is continuing its line of DC comics cars, you guessed it, the red and blue caped hero. An Optima Hybrid is being customized to look like Superman himself.

The Kriptonia's famous suit is being replicated on the body of the car, with an overall bus paintjob, new panel lines and of course the famous "S" shield logo on the bonnet.

The Superman Kia Optima will make its official debut at the Chicago Auto Show this year. It and other superhero themed Kias are actually being built to raise money for the campaign that fights hunger in the Horn of Africa. Superman would be proud!

He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
