Back in December, Kia hit us with a teaser of the KV7 concept, a vehicle that is scheduled to make its debut at the upcoming Detroit Auto Show. Now, the South Korean automotive producer is presenting us the second teaser of the KV7, which brings the vehicle's left headlight to our attention.
"Kia Motors will unveil the KV7 concept, the latest design statement from the brand's U.S. studio located in Irvine, Calif., at the 2011 North American International Auto Show (NAIAS). Conceived as a challenge to the industry's current interpretation of the van, the KV7 incorporates several innovative lighting elements currently being evaluated for future Kia production vehicles," stated the press release.
We are looking forward not only to see the concept, but also
to observe how Kia will integrate some of the concept's original solutions into its future production vehicles.
“For the past several years Kia Motors’ design-led transformation has been delivering production vehicles – such as the Soul, Forte Koup and Sportage – that bear a very close resemblance to the original concept designs that preceded them," a company statement reads.
autoevolution will be attending the 2011 North American International Auto Show, so stay tuned for some real up close and personal shots of the vehicles, as well as for first-hand details of the motorized contraptions.
