Kia Soul in the UK: 1,000 Units Sold in 100 Days

Kia Soul is one of the best selling models in Kia's current model lineup, with lots of models sold since the company debuted it in global markets some months ago. To be more specific, Kia delivered a total of 1,000 units in the United Kingdom in no less than 100 days of availability since it has arrived in the country. The 1,000th Kia Soul was delivered to a client at Wessex Kia in the West Country and is powered by a 1.6-liter CRDi. The main features include reverse camera and LCD screen, 18-inch alloy wheels and Vanilla Shake exterior color.

"Soul has been the success we hoped it would be and to hit 1,000 sales so soon in these difficult times is a credit to the quality and value of the car. The design is fresh and exciting and it is bringing new customers to our brand for the first time – it really is a Kia that turns heads," Kia Motors UK Ltd. Managing Director, Paul Philpott, said.

The new Korean urban crossover is boasting advanced occupant safety, a feature also supported by the recently-gained 5-star Euro NCAP rating.

“The latest Euro NCAP result is a major landmark achievement for Kia. This is a superb follow-up to the 5-Star Euro NCAP rating achieved by the Kia cee’d in 2007. Soul was designed and engineered to meet or surpass the expectations of European, North American and global consumers in every respect - including safety,” Panu Vainamo, Kia Motors Europe marketing manager said today after Euro NCAP announced the results.
