Kia's hamsters started out as oversized cool pets, but they've gradually changed and adapted to suit the needs of the automaker. The latest CGI commercial is called Share Some Soul, or should we say #ShareSomeSoul. It feels a little bit like that time your dad tried to be cool in front of some hot girls, and that's because the music being featured is for old timers.
At the start of the ad, Kia's hamsters show up at the park to play the famous Dueling Banjos song. After that, a bunch of other musicians join in, ranging from medieval Korean festival drums to a DJ. Brightly colored Soul crossovers arrive as well, maybe as a way to highlight that the car is available in purple or green now. We'd just buy a Hellcat for that!
