Kia Released Limited Edition Cerato in Australia

South-Korean carmaker KIA has recently announced that Australians will get a small run of its Limited Edition Cerato, with features valued at $1,200 offered at no extra cost for a limited time only.

The Kia Cerato is powered by a 2.0-liter Theta II CVVT (Continuously Variable Valve Timing ) petrol engine that develops 154 horsepower and mated to a 5-speed manual or Sportsmatic 4-speed automatic transmission. Pricing for the limited edition run are of $20,990 for the 5-speed manual transmission model or $22,990 for the 4-speed automatic one.

The car will come equipped with the Kia Cerato S Option Pack, along with additional 15-inch five-spoke polished alloy wheels fitted with 195/65 R15 tires, a chromed version of the 'Schreyer' corporate grille and tailored front and rear floor mats.

Limited Edition Cerato’s standard equipment includes air-conditioning, remote audio controls, cruise control, powered and heated door mirrors, power windows (front and rear), keyless remote central locking, MP3 compatible CD player with Power Bass, auxiliary input (for external audio device), USB audio input with iPod compatibility, repeater lamps on door mirrors and speed-sensing auto door locks.

According to the manufacturer, the Cerato is one of the 'greenest' vehicles in Australia’s small segment, emitting just 186 grams per kilometer of CO2 with the manual gearbox (187 g/km for the four-speed automatic) despite being the most powerful vehicle in its class.

Like all new Kia vehicles sold in Australia, the Limited Edition Cerato will also be covered by Kia's 5-year/unlimited kilometer warranty for private buyers (5-year/130,000kms for fleet buyers).
