One of the wackiest models to be displayed at the Paris Auto Show starting next week is definitely Kia's new POP concept, an electric vehicle meant to be a “chic and dramatic styling to the city car segment.” Although there's little to go on when it comes to the mechanics that power the concept, we're pretty sure it's more the looks which make for all the appeal of the car. Apparently, so is Kia, who released today a few more images showing the concept, including its interior. The car has been created after taking inspiration from the Kia Ray and drawn by Kia’s European Design team led by Peter Schreyer, Kia’s Chief Design Officer, and Gregory Guillaume, Kia Europe’s Chief Designer. The vehicle has been build, as said, as a city car, one which allows those traveling in it to enjoy the cityscape through a panoramic glass roof. The car has been designed with the latest technological evolutions in mind, including LED technology for the taillights. Kia's booth at the Paris Auto Show is expected to be one of the most exciting ones, with several models to take their rightful place in the display. They include the Optima (European debut), Sportage, cee’d and Venga. More details about the POP will be revealed on September 30, when the Paris show opens its doors for the media. autoevolution will be attending the 2010 Paris Auto Show, so stay tuned for some real up close and personal shots of the vehicles, as well as for first-hand details of the motorized contraptions presented at the event.
