Kia Launches 7 Year Switch Offer in the UK

After the UK Government announced in early February it has decided to extend the country's scrappage scheme until the end of March, Kia Motors’ local division announced it is adding an extra spice to the offering.

The carmaker therefore announced it is introducing the 7 Year Switch, offering owners of cars over seven years old the chance to trade up to a new Kia, benefit of a seven year warranty and save up to £2,000 off the list price.

The 7 Year Switch gives customers the chance to cut £2,000 off the price of a Kia Soul, pro_cee’d, cee’d SW and cee’ d (the cee’d Strike special edition model is not included). Or, they could save £1,500 off any Picanto, Rio or Venga.

New Kia customers, for example, could drive away in a new Soul for as little as £9,495. On the other hand, the Kia Picanto with 7 Year Switch is only £5,135 on-the-road.

The scheme is open to cars between seven and 10 years old with a valid MOT certificate. Customers must have owned their cars for at least six months. According to Kia, the 7 Year Switch only applies to new car orders taken up to March 31.

“Once again we’re giving more reasons for potential new customers to take a fresh look at Kia. We have exciting new, fuel efficient, safe and high-quality cars in our showrooms across the whole of the UK and every single model is covered by the best new car warranty in Europe – seven years and 100,000 miles,”
Michael Cole, Managing Director of Kia Motors, said in a release.
