When Korean automaker Kia unveiled their new flagship sedan, the K9, the only revealed plans to bring it to the domestic market.
Of course, no matter how larger the Korean market it, too much money and time went into the development of this car. So the question is not if, but when and how the K9 will make it to the US and Europe.

Since the sedan is actually designed by a German in Europe, we’re not surprised that it has already been spotted testing this winger in Scandinavia. But given that the model shares its architecture with a Hyundai, we’re expecting a US market launch as well, based on production on North American soil.

Twitter user Scarboy6692 uploaded a picture of the K9 testing on an Orange County, California roadway.

Autonews caught the scoop on the story and asked Kia Motors spokesman James Hope what’s going on. The answer was dodgy as you would expect: "It’s not uncommon for us to receive cars for evaluation."

However, if they are indeed evaluating the car, that means that it’s at least being considered.
