South Korean automaker Kia has announced it will introduce a brand new concept car at the 2013 Detroit Auto Show later this month.
Dubbed GT4 Stinger, the new vehicle, whose front end is shown in the rendering above, will be powered by a turbocharged 2.0-liter engine that delivers 315 horsepower to the rear wheels. That’s excellent news if you ask us, but it looks like we’ll have to wait a bit longer for more details.
Kia does reveal that the concept car will feature its most recent signature grille, vertical LED headlamps (which make it resemble an Audi R8), bespoke 20-inch wheels and a carbon fiber front splitter for added downforce.
A previous teaser from the manufacturer said they will be showing a concept car with a 2+2 interior layout and a hatchback body. Stick around for more on the GT4 Stinger as the Detroit Auto Show kicks off on January 13.
