Kia Cross GT Concept CUV, one of the highlights of today's Chicago Auto Show, is finally available for the world to see thanks to the images published by the Korean automaker.
Designed as a crossover utility vehicle for those who want something larger than a Sorento SUV, the Cross GT Concept was presented as a show car only. At least for the moment, when Kia refuses to offer more information related to eventual mass production.
According to Kia, the Cross GT is powered by a 3.8-litre V6 hybrid that can rely exclusively on electricity for about 20 miles, which isn't a lot, but not exactly a poor performance for a concept vehicle.
As far as the exterior is concerned, the car stands out through the three-piece glass roof and the suicide doors, two features that we might as well enjoy now, since there's little chance they'll be transferred on a production version.
All in all, we really think that a Cross GT-based production car has enough potential to outlive the Kia Borrego.
