Set to be unveiled at the 2013 Geneva Auto Show, the Kia Cee’d GT was spotted in South Korea and someone was wise enough to take a few shots of the car.
Thanks to the guys at Bobaedream.co.kr, we are now able to take a peak at the sportier version of Kia’s Cee’d, although the pictures were taken during the night and their quality is far from decent.
The good news is that these aren’t the only photos of the yet unveiled 5-door Cee’d GT, as Autoforum.cz claims it has the first rendered image of the car that, as you can see for yourselves, gives us a much better look at it.
Now let’s see what sets the Cee’d GT apart from the standard version. First of all we have the a little more flamboyant apparel with red front end trim and red brake calipers. Then there’s the 18-inch wheels, larger break disks and a more rigid suspension.
So far we know that the Kia Cee’d GT will benefit from the same 1.6-liter GDI Turbo engine that propels the 3-door version. With 204 hp, the car can get to 60 mph (100 kmh) in 7.9 seconds.
