Kia has announced UK pricing and specification details for the all-new third-generation Carena MPV. Set to go on sale starting May 1, the 7-seat compact vehicle is now available to order across the United Kingdom.
Priced from £17,895, the new Kia Carens will come with three engine options: the gasoline 1.6 GDi good for 133 bhp and the diesel 1.7 CRDi that offers two different outputs of 114 bhp and 134 bhp.

Customers will be able to choose between three trim and equipment levels (“1”, “2” and “3”) that add several features to the standard seven-seat layout, projection headlights with cornering lamps, LED daytime running lamps, electrically adjustable heated door mirrors, leather-trimmed steering wheel, air conditioning, electric windowns and cruise control, just to name a few.

In case you’re planning to get the range-topping “3” version, the vehicle will be enhanced by 17-inch alloy wheels, a panoramic sunroof, leather upholstery, 10-way driver’s seat adjustment heated front seats and a heated steering wheel, aero blade-type front wipers with a de-icing system, second-row sun blinds and LED reading lights, and a colour reversing camera integrated into the centre fascia screen.

As far as safety is concerned, the Kia Carens will greet its drivers with several new features, including Hill-start Assist Control, Emergency Stop Signal, Brake Assist, Vehicle Stability Management and Electronic Stability Control.
