Kevin Hart is also referred to as “the hardest working man in Hollywood,” but as one saying goes, all that work and no play makes Jack a dull boy. When he’s not working, Kevin Hart sure knows how to play.
Also known as a car enthusiast and discerning collector, Kevin Hart’s personal collection of automobiles is the stuff of dreams. It’s very eclectic, too, including exotics, rare examples, and what one might call “regular” luxury rides, and is heavy on vintage vehicles, most of them restored and revamped. Hart loves American muscle, so it’s no wonder he also loves the work of the talented team at SpeedKore.
SpeedKore is the same shop that made the blue 1970 Plymouth Barracuda that Hart bought himself for his 40th birthday present and that would end up destroyed in a single-vehicle crash in September 2019. Hart himself was in the car at the time, though in the passenger seat, and he suffered serious spinal injuries that required surgery and months of therapy.
The driver lost control of the supercharged vehicle and drove it down an embankment. The other two people in the car were also injured, but the silver lining to the story is that all three occupants have since made a full recovery.
Now that he’s back on his feet, stronger and better than ever, Hart is back at SpeedKore for his next sweet ride – and his choice is American muscle again. TMZ is saying that the custom shop is currently wrapping up a new project for the actor, dubbed Hellraiser. It’s an old Dodge Charger Hart bought for this purpose, for “several thousands of dollars.”
If the report is accurate, SpeedKore has been teasing Hellraiser on Instagram, but without namedropping Hart – as you can see in the embed at the bottom of the page. Time will tell whether that’s the case, and soon: as per the celebrity publication, Hart is expected to take delivery of Hellraiser as soon as next week and, knowing him, he’s bound to say a few words about it on his social media, or at the very least show it off.
