We love to hear great news from the legendary riders of yore, and now it's time for Kenny Roberts Sr. to step once more into the spotlight. In a recent interview with MotoGP.com, King Kenny mentioned he has real plans for bringing together a MotoGP team for the future.
While Roberts Sr. did not offer too many details on the upcoming comeback, he did however mention that in case things fall into place the way he wants, there will be a full-on attack on the existing paddock camps, with not cut corners and no compromises made.
"We’re working on it. And we’re working on something quite big – it’s going to happen or it’s not going to happen. It’s not going to be almost there. When we come back we’ll come back in a big way! And if you don’t see me, you’ll know we didn’t get it done," Kenny Roberts Sr. added.
He concluded that the current development of his future MotoGP operations has already reached a point where a 2014 presence could be somehow fathomed, but given the scale of the whole racing enterprise he set forth, 2015 is more perceivable objective.
