As the inaugural AIMExpo (American International Motorcycle Expo) is drawing near, the organizers have made a spectacular decision naming the legendary racer Kenny Roberts as their “American International Motorcycle Champion.” King Kenny will be thee face of the debut AIMExpo, and he will of course, join the celebrations of this premiere bike show.
By far the greatest American motorcycle racer of all times, Kenny Roberts is also the first American to win a FIM MotoGP championship in 1978, and has won three consecutive championships until 1980.

As a center figure in the celebrations of the first-ever AIMExpo, Kenny Roberts will be the image of the pre-event publicity and promos, and will play a major role in the grand opening of the show.

Marketplace Events Motorcycle Group, the AIMExpo producer, has commissioned a Yamaha Star Bolt customized in the King's yellow racing livery which will be given away at the show.

The AIMExpo will take place in Orlando, Florida October 16-20, 2013 at the Orange County Convention Center - Halls WA3, 4 & B1.

On September 11, Warn Industries officially became the 350th exhibitor at the AIMExpo, but with more than one month remaining, the numbers might still grow: "we’re looking ahead to our 400th exhibitor!” Cinnamon Kernes, show director, added.
