Model and reality television star Kendall Jenner seems like she knows about her Range Rover’s safety features, as she thought it would be cool to dance and sing with her girlfriend while driving. Whether the 18-year old celebrity did it to keep her fans entertained or just to show off, a footage of the little scene obviously was uploaded on Kendall’s Instagram.
Remember the black Range Rover Kendall Jenner got as a sixteen birthday gift? Well, it’s the same 4x4 we see her dancing in along with girlfriend model Ashley Sky. The two young hot brunettes look like they’re having a great time, while Avril Lavigne’s old school skater hit was running loud in the car’s stereo. Only problem is, the Kardashian star is acting kind of reckless considering she’s not really focusing and the road at every now and then takes her hands off the wheel.
However, the engineers over at Tata Motors already thought of these sort of situations, when drivers would lower their attention to the road to do some random stuff, so they implemented some useful safety features.
The mid-size SUV comes with the Active Cruise Control (ACC), whose Forward Alerts system incorporates an integrated front bumper radar which detects vehicles traveling ahead and adapts the vehicle’s speed to match. The system scans the road ten times a second, has a 16 degree field of view and Land Rover claims it is able to discriminate between a heavy vehicle and an adjacent lane motorcycle traveling at least 590 ft (180 meters) ahead.
We sure hope Kendall was counting on this and didn’t just act reckless without caring about circumstances.
