Ken Block's Gymkhana Reaches 25,000 Fans in Austria

The Gymkhana “master” Ken Block succeeds every time in amazing the audience with his insane surgically executed maneuvers. After the Gymkhana World Tour was started, Ken Block began a similar project along with Ford,the Octane Academy, that hopefully will be just as big as the Gymkhana World Tour.

Ford action-motorsports star says he was thrilled more than 25,000 fans that attended the first stop of his Gymkhana series, in Vienna, Austria on July 17.The Gymkhana series already proves to be a huge hit over the internet as it was rated as one of the most viewed along with his World Rally Championship campaign with a three-event tour that also make stops in L.A. and in Melbourne, Australia.

"Ever since we filmed the first Gymkhana video, I have wanted to be able to bring this type of action to a place where people can watch it live, and Gymkhana World Tour does exactly that. I'm super stoked on the staggering turnout we had in Austria. It was just amazing to have such an enormous crowd be able to witness the 'hooning' so close, and to see everyone enjoy it so much." Ken Block Ford action-motorsports driver was quoted as saying by autoweek.com.

Block pulled the stunt in Austria driving his purpose-built Ford Fiesta. He performed several of his famous driving tricks that were completed by a display with two freestyle motocross riders, Blake “Bilko” Williams and Adam Jones. The Gymkhana World Tour will reach Los Angeles on July 23rd, followed by the final event in Melbourne on August 27th.
