Powered by British automotive lubricants brand Castrol, the future 'Titanium Strong Blackout' video will bring together a team of world class drivers to take on a Tron-like circuit, made entirely out of beams of light.
Each and every aspect of the asphaltic neon wilderness is said to be designed for testing the limits of both man and machine. All drivers will need to work together in the eerie darkness as a team, racing those really cool laser lights.
Starting with 46-year-old Ken Block and his 2014 Ford Fiesta trick machine, the freestyle driver renowned for his breathtaking drifts and Gymkhana videos will be joined by a few other big names from the world of motorsport.
Block will be joined by Augusto Farfus. The 30-year-old Brazillian racing driver won the Nurburgring 24 Hours and is currently a leading contender in DTM. He was named "Rookie Of The Year 2012" and last year secured 2nd place in the drivers' championship. Farfus will take on 'Titanium Strong Blackout' in a BMW M4.
Adrian Zaugg (27) is a test driver for Lamborghini, who's most at home behind the wheel of a supercar. When he's not on the job, Adrian enjoys competing in the Super Trofeo Series. His ride of choice is a 700 horsepower Lamborghini Aventador.
The drivers lineup is completed by 30-year-old Mike Rockenfeller. The German won the FIA GT championship in 2005 and became the youngest driver ever to win the GT2 class of the demanding Le Mans 24 Hours endurance race. He took overall victory at Le Mans in 2010 and the DTM champion title in 2013. For the upcoming 'Titanium Strong Blackout' video, Mike will drive an Audi R8.
