Last year, Gymkhana star Ken Block nearly won the Rally America series. His way to the topped was blocked by a massive crash that occurred in the final race of the season.
Earlier this week, Hoonigan Racing Division’s driver released a five-minute video in which he explains what happened in the Lake Superior Performance Rally. According to Block, the crash was merely about back luck, as a simple word that was missing from his co-driver’s pace notes caused him to hit a clump of dirt.

In related news, Ken Block has announced plans to join the all-new FIA World Rallycross Championship in a Hoonigan Racing/Monster Energy-liveried Ford Fiesta. The American driver compete in a minimum of three rounds, including Norway (June 15-16), France (September 6-7) and Turkey (October 11-12).
