Everyone’s busy ordering Hamann or AC Schnitzer body kits or ECU tunes but sometimes, the alternatives could look better and even bring more exclusivity too. Take this Kelleners Sport X5, for example, a car that looks good without trying too hard.
The aerodynamic body kit will set you back around €4,500 but it might as well be worth it. Don’t believe me? The photos posted below, courtesy of the Abu Dhabi BMW dealership, should be more convincing.
Apart from the body kit, the car also had its wheels changed with a custom set from AC Schnitzer better known as Typ V finished in chrome, joined by black tinted windows. Measuring 22-inches, the rims are basically the cheapest model you can get from the German tuner, costing just a little over €1,000 for the entire set.
Inside, the best leather was used but the brown color might’ve been the wrong choice as it will not cater to every taste. The dark wood trims complete the package along with the Bang & Olufsen sound system.
No word was offered on the engine tuning but considering that the standard model makes 450 HP and 650 Nm (479 lb-ft) of torque thanks to a twin-turbo V8, who would need more?
Yeah, sure, the SUV tips the scale above the 2 ton margin but even so, it’s more than enough for any ‘normal’ driver. Would you really need any more?
