Kayslee Collins Does Playboy Shoot in Jaguar E-Type Coupe: Old Hollywood Glam

The internet has ruined everything. Kim Kardashian's Instagram pictures are worth more than any academic study and jokes now come in the form of something called a "meme".

Not surprisingly, the old-school formula that made Playboy magazine a success doesn't work anymore. Nobody buys print magazines and spends a few days browsing through 100 pages of interviews and amusing banter. Centerfolds? Teasing and classic beauty don't cut the mustard for the modern man.

But us retrosexuals still enjoy classic glam, especially when a 60-year-old classic car is involved. We got just what we wanted from Playboy's February 2015 playmate of the month, Kayslee Collins.

With photographer Josh Ryan behind the camera, Kayslee strutted her stuff in a black Jaguar E-Type Coupe. With full, pouting red lips and blonde hair cut short, there's something of the old Hollywood glam about her. She's almost like a younger, slimmer Marilyn Monroe, exactly what you want to see when you stick the keys in the ignition and go for a long drive.

Kayslee has been a star long before appearing in Playboy magazine. Her career started out at the age of 5 and by 16 she appeared in over 25 commercials for brands like Barbie and Nickelodeon. Also appearing in television shows, the blonde is known for her roles in The Homes as well as Nick's Zoey 101 and iCarly.

“I worked and didn’t really have a normal childhood, but I loved what I did,” she says. “I always thought it was what I was supposed to be doing. I idolize Playboy icons like Jenny McCarthy, Anna Nicole Smith and especially Marilyn Monroe.”

As for the E-Type, it's probably the most famous car of its era, so we don't need to say that much about it. However, know that a mint condition Series 1 hardtop costs a small fortune. Yet there is a solution to this problem, which is the modern F-Type R Coupe. Costing just $100,000, this ultra-powerful Porsche fighter is ideal if Kayslee decided she suddenly wants to wear Nikes instead of high heels.

Any Jag, any dress style, we'll take the car+girl combo all day!

Mihnea's favorite cars have already been built, the so-called modern classics from the '80s and '90s. He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
