Kawasaki Zephyrus Sweetness by Ton-Up Garage

Portugal-based Ton-Up Garage are not a new presence at autoevolution and we're ever so glad to show you a new build from Daniel, Pedro and their crew. This time their magic went into an 1993 Kawasaki Zephyr.

With undented faith in bike revival, Ton-Up Garage built a low-budget custom Zephyr, without extensive hacking and sawing, and replacing only few key elements to breathe new life into the bike.

The rear subframe had to be hand crafted in-house, to accommodate a new, sportier stance provided by the lowered front suspension. A custom solo seat and cafe-racer rear cowl are now in place, matching the rearsets which replaced the stock pegs, while the LSL clip-ons add even more sport character.

Ton-Up also minimized the font fender and replaced the side panels to hide the electrics and battery. The airbox is goine, replaced by better-flowing conical air filters, and the instrumentation was reduced to a very cool backlit gauge.

Black on the wheels and a neat livery involving silver accents and bright yellow pinstripes, and the Zephyrus is back to prowling the streets in full pride. Oh, and yes,THAT signature yellow headlight!
