Kawasaki shows a new motocross machine designed to help riders transition to the bigger bikes as their skills increase and stature grows. While the quarter-liter KX is definitely not a toy, as it requires serious experience and power for precise handling, the 2014 Kawasaki KX100 might be just the motorcycle which was missing from team Green's roster.
The 2014 Kawasaki KX100 is powered by a 99cc two-stroke single, fed through a 28mm Keihin carb and sporting the acclaimed Kawasaki Integrated Power-valve System (KIPS) for consistent power delivery across the rpm range.

With good low-end torque and a 6-speed gearbox, the 2014 Kawasaki KX100 can surely provide the optimal power deployment for pretty much any scenario.

The 36mm forks are adjustable for compression and damping, while the Uni-Trak rear shock also sports spring preload adjustment, in addition to the compression and rebound damping settings. The bike rolls on a high-tensile steel frame, just like the other new MX beast, the 2014 KX65.

Finally, riders who attend specific events with their KX100 are eligible for Kawasaki factory support through an amateur racing program. The MSRP for the 2014 Kawasaki KX100 is $4,599 (€3,505).
