The Nissan Skyline has been one of the most iconic muscle cars of modern times, and has won countless showdowns with all sorts of rivals. An excellent platform for engine tuning, the Skyline reaching north of 1,000 horsepower has become a common thing.
This beast no longer represents the pinnacle of muscle car aftermarket engineering, but the most viciously powerful Skylines are still fearsome opponents in drag races, and will give others a run for the money more than often.
However, not even a 1,100 bhp Skyline can pose a real threat to a superbike whose peak power "only" reaches past the 300 hp bar. While in the world of souped-up cars 1,100 bhp is a figure that won't leave anyone gasping, a motorcycle that can produce 300 horsepower in stock trim is close to being almost surreal.
Such brute power can rival MotoGP bikes, which are the most technologically-advanced two-wheelers on Earth, with tremendous acceleration and incredible efficiency in transferring that power to the ground.
