Fancy getting a Kawasaki Ninja H2R even though you thought it was gone for good after the first lot sold out? Well, we have good news for you, as the house of Akashi is taking orders for this 300 hp bike once more.
As it happened previously and in the case of the new Ninja H2, no numbers were mentioned. The only things we know about the new move from Kawasaki is that the Ninja H2R will be a 2016 model year machine, and those willing to fork out $50,000 in the US or around €53,000 in Europe (Italy price) have until December 11 or 20, respectively, to pull the trigger on this beauty.

Kawasaki did not announce any changes for the bikes, and frankly, we didn't even expect them to. The machines took a long time to design and engineer, and they are loaded with the "bestest" technology Kawasaki can deliver, so it's hard to believe that they could improve anything significant during the last year.

The Ninja H2 got a new livery, but the H2R apparently stays the same

The H2 received a new livery for 2016, as we reported in late October. The street-legal Ninja H2 will be available in a color that's called Mirror Coated Spark Black.

Its more powerful, non-street-legal and doubly-priced sibling, on the other hand, seems to enter 2016 unchanged. Honestly, we looked at the H2R up-close when it was launched at EICMA 2014 in Milan and thought it was very hard, if not downright impossible to make it look better, from a livery standpoint.

The carbon fiber covered by thick layers of clear, high-gloss varnish looked mesmerizing, and Kawasaki most likely knew this only too well and went with it. We're not even sure if ANY other livery than the exquisite current one would make too much sense in conjunction with this spectacular machine.

Surely, there might be room for certain improvements, but they need A LOT of thinking, as the Kawasaki Ninja H2R is NOT the bike to toy with.
