Kawasaki Ninja H2 Races BMW S1000RR on the Highway

The moment we've been waiting for so long has finally arrived, and Kawasaki Ninja H2 machines begin to appear on the street. Obviously, everybody is willing to see how far the Ninja H2 will go and how will it stack up against other superbikes.

It's now time to show you one of the first showdowns between the H2 and the rest of the lot. This highway race features a 2015 BMW S1000RR, yes, the upgraded one.

With these rolling starts being as imprecise as it gets, it's rather hard to make a clear call as to which bike nails the runs. If anything, we'd say that the Ninja H2 rider has not mastered launching this bike.

Even so, the opponent is also a force to be reckoned with, and it was not exactly surprising to see that the S1000RR was always on par with the Kawasaki Ninja H2. The previous S1000RR model was already an evil superbike, and the upgraded 2015 version only made things better and more competitive.

The game is on

We even dare say that the German superbike is a more efficient road racing monster than the Japanese supercharged one. The Bavarian naturally-aspirated power plant can produce as much as 199 horsepower, compared to the 200 of the Ninja. In ideal conditions, the Kawasaki could add 10-15 horsepower to that figure, but you know how rarely these "ideal conditions" occur...

However, this is only the beginning of the Ninja H2 street madness, we can rest assured. More neck to neck racing is on its way, and we'll bring you the most thrilling action clips, so bookmarking this page would be a smart move. Enjoy!
