Kawasaki Ninja H2 Electronics Detailed, Hear It Revved Really High

Kawasaki has uploaded yet another video teaser of the upcoming Ninja H2 machine, but this time things are finally beginning to be more serious. After rather insipid robots and other shots which didn’t say pretty much anything about the bike itself, it’s now time to rejoice. We’ve got an explicit shot of the bike’s dashboard, and it looks amazing.

Of course, to the guys whose hearts beat faster when they see a Kawasaki W800, the ultra high-tech instrument cluster may be a disheartening sight. However, this is pure NSFW for those who love sport bikes.

Digital meets analog

To be honest, we all expected a fully-digital dash. Say, a full LCD screen not unlike that of the all-new 2015 Yamaha YZF-R1, of not even a touchscreen one. The house of Akashi begged to differ and keep things still with one foot on the traditional side, so an analog tachometer dominates the dash. It is complemented by a generous backlit LCD screen which offers a lot of information and a bevy of other lights which are also still faithful to the old-school design.

The Ninja H2 will be literally oozing electronics. Still, considering we’re looking at a machine derived from the H2R which packs around 300 horsepower this only seems natural. After all, the H2R even has F1 winglets and deflectors… it’s an insane bike and by all means, any kind of help is welcome when behind the bars of such a beast!

H2 arrives with Kawasaki Traction Control, Engine Brake Control, QuickShifter, an electronic steering damper, KIBS intelligent ABS, Launch Control, and riding modes, as well.

There are more teasers coming until the wraps are pulled off the Ninja H2 at the EICMA in Milan early next month. We’ll be there and send you live info and photos, as well as the Ninja H2 and H2R prices.

And now, for some Ninja H2R audio supercharged XXX…
