Infiniti might be a Japanese automaker with its roots firmly set in parent company Nissan, but its headquarters are in China. Today, they announced that famous US singer and all-round bombshell Katy Perry will sing for the first time in China at the 2014 Infiniti China Brand Festival in Beijing.
Perry is expected to perform songs like “Roar,” “Teenage Dream” and “Firework.” The event is scheduled to take place on Saturday, January 11, at the no-famous Beijing indoor Olympic Stadium. The automaker will take this opportunity to promote its latest technology as well as upcoming vehicles that have been developed for the local market.

Starting in 2014, local production of the QX50 crossover and Q50 sedan will start at a local factory. These models have been re-engineered for the local market conditions.

Mihnea's favorite cars have already been built, the so-called modern classics from the '80s and '90s. He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
