Katy Perry Rides a Bicycle in New York Traffic

It’s funny how the bycicle is becoming more popular in today’s technology-flooded era when the automotive industry is making more and more efforts to offer a higher level of... everything for the vehicles sold to the public.

Many celebrities act as promoters for this pedal-trend, ditching their cars in favor of bicycles on multiple occasions. The latest star to join this trend is Katy Perry, who stepped out of her Audi and chose to ride a bike around Tribeca (Lower Manhattan, New York), as celebritycarsblog.com reports.

Probably aiming to ride around unnouticed, Katy chose to use a hardcore biking outfit, using an all-black approach. We have to say that the riding gear doesn’t quite seem to be the most discreet choice in the history if two-wheeled contraptions, but it does manage to keep her identity secret for "traffic mates".

Here at autoevolution, we’re big fan of bicycles. This is because we believe that life can be lived as a menage-a-trois: the automotive editor, a car and a pedal-powered two-wheeler. Of course these unusual marriage doesn’t entirely describe our life, as a motorcycle mistress is also included.

The cars we drive are never jealous, as they now that the number spot in our hearts will always belong to them. And, as you know, each automotive love story only lasts for one week, so even if a four-wheeled creation has a less-forgiving personality, it’s not difficult to keep a bicycle hidden. What can we say... there are pedals and pedals.
