Black is the new black, they say in fashion. It’s been like that in the automotive industry for as long as we can remember. After all, is there a different color you can envision a bad-boy Lamborghini Aventador in other than black? And when you know it belongs to nobody else than Yeezy himself, it’s only natural for things to roll that way. The only problem comes when you see that car stopping by for a Happy Meal at McDonald’s. It tends to ruin the mood.
Last time we checked the “oh, so famous-so special” couple tabloids call Kimye, they were sending most of their car fleet for a proper refresh over at their beloved The Platinum Group auto shop in LA. Judging by the image you’re looking at above, we can’t quite figure what changed about West’s 700-hp supercar. We can, however, observe he had no intention whatsoever to lose the black wrap. And we can’t but agree with this decision.

Seeing whether or not something changed with the K family’s Aventador was one of the reasons we are writing this. The irony these celebrities sometimes live their lives by would make for the second one.

Why the irony, you ask? Well, think of this: Kanye West is supposed to be the tough guy of the industry. His music is renown for the self-esteem the rapper breaths in every lyric, with nine out of then phrases talking about the tough-guy nature he posses.

The 37-year-old artist likes most of his cars wrapped in dark colors, regularly has the windows tinted and almost never smiles (seriously, people know him for that, apparently). However, a fast stop at one of the world’s biggest fast food chains will make him smile almost immediately.

It’s always the little things, apparently.
