Kahn Vengeance Parades Unique Aston Martin Look in Monaco

The Kahn Group started out making cool wheels for Range Rovers and other SUVs. But soon, the business blossomed into body kits, exhaust, and even one-off projects. Time after time, the Brits sent us emails telling us to stop calling them tuners, and they were right.

In March, the Kahn Vengeance made its official motor show debut in Geneva. But the best stage for such a uniquely flavored DB9 has to be Monaco and its Top Marques Motor Show.

In many ways, it can be considered an exotic. They are only going to make a few of these, and that's because the body is fabricated by hand using aluminum. They've also bumped up the power for the V12 engine to 600 horsepower and straightened out the interior mess.

As you may have noticed, there are two videos in the section below. The first is taken on the streets of Monaco. It's always one thing to look at a car in press photos and another for it to play with the light in the real world.

The overall shape is easily identified as an Aston Martin, but some of the details demand a second look, a "what the hell is that?" From the front, the unique shaped polished grille dominates the view. However, Kahn has also played with the hood and bumper to give it more aggression.

The back features differently sculpted shoulders and gives off a modern classic vibe that may remind some people of the Ferrari 599 GTB.

The second video is from Top Marques Monaco 2016 and allows us to have a better look at the uniquely shaped grille and some of the carbon fiber details that can't be seen until you get close enough. Probably the coolest thing about this car is that Aston Martin is happy it exists.

"I am delighted to see Kahn Design at the Geneva Motor Show. There is a long and rich history of specialist coach-built Aston Martins, and we wish Kahn every success with the Vengeance,"
said Gary Arches, the company's purchasing director.
