British car customizing specialists Kahn Design have released the first photos of their Vengeance project, which breathes new life into the aging Aston Martin DB9 coupe.
Described by its creators as a "sabertooth on the prowl", the Vengeance has unique styling features. Starting at the front, we notice a new type of grille and the vented bonnet that also has a big bulge in the middle. Maybe the sabertooth kitten doesn't have enough room for its teeth.

Details about what powers the Vengeance are not available at this moment, but most likely it will carry over the 6.0-liter V12 engine, which in the DB9 pumps out 517 PS and 620 Nm (458 lb-ft). A 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) run in 4.6 seconds is enough, considering the Kahn project is more of a design exercise.
Another item of great importance is the widebody kit, sculpted by hand in aluminum to look muscular. The car also has vented fenders and polished stainless steel 20-/21-inch alloy wheels with a unique spoke design.

The rear of the car has more than a passing resemblance to older Ferrari V12 supercars like the 612. Round exhaust pipes have replaced the trademark Aston Martin ones, and they also reworked the bumpers. Kahn also installed their typical exhaust system with crosshairs in the middle of the pipes.

"Launching the Vengeance is the realisation of a dream I’ve had since childhood, to design and produce my own car. I’ve worked in the industry my whole career, and I want to leave a legacy which I can be proud of. The design has gone through several iterations over the years and I’ve taken my time in selecting the right partners to prototype and manufacture the car, ensuring it represents the pinnacle of quality and perfection," said Afzal Kahn, the company founder.
