Do you know what the big difference between car people with a sense for auto tuning and pop artists with a lack of talent is? The first regularly have a peculiar sense of humor. And that’s exactly how things turned out with Justin Bieber’s promo for his new song: funny.
Last time we told you guys about Justin Bieber’s Ferrari 458 and the look it recently got over at the West Coast Customs shop, we also told you about a detail that clearly is not car related. At that moment, the pop artist was busy promoting his new single What Do You Mean, but the way he did it was rather unique.
The Canadian artist’s new song came in at No. 4 in the Billboard + Twitter Top Tracks of August 15 chart without even being released yet. You know why? Because he asked all his celebrity friends - everything from fellow artists, actors, directors to sportsmen - to promote the name of his song online.
They’d all be using the #WhatDoYouMean tag on pieces of paper or pictures and post them on their social media accounts. Quite bright, to be honest.
And since Billboard’s chart is a compiled ranking of the week’s most shared and/or mentioned songs on Twitter in the United States, Bieber’s soon-to-be-released hit became more attractive than those who were on the market already. This matters little to us, but we had to tell the whole story so that you could understand the small clip below.
It turns out, the "Baby, baby" singer got to the folks over at the West Coast Customs auto shop with his request too, considering they also did the promotion thing. Instead of what everybody else did, however, they had to connect the whole deal to a car. They used Bieber’s Ferrari 458 since it was there for the frozen blue refresh anyway. The result? Music to any petrolhead’s ears.
