Before the entire world shut down due to the health crisis, Justin Bieber was preparing to hit the road again, after more than three years of absence from live performing. To prepare for what should have been the Changes 2020 Tour, he ordered a custom RV that would serve as touring bus.
And then the world stopped. Bieber and his wife, model Hailey Bieber, retired to Canada for the lockdown, and the tour bus was left to gather dust somewhere. Now that things are starting to slowly go back to normal, Bieber is taking a page out of Miranda Lambert’s book (though not intentionally), and hitting the road with the same RV that he should have used as a tour bus.
At the weekend, Justin and Hailey were spotted at a national park in Utah, snapping photos of each other and the beautiful surroundings, while the massive RV was parked at a distance. The awning was open and patio furniture had been laid out, as this photo from TMZ confirms.
As it turns out, the RV is the same bus Bieber had made from Marathon Coach. It seems to be a Prevost Bus Conversion, so it’s a custom build on an existing chassis – and it’s the epitome of luxury. You can see a paparazzi video at the bottom of the page of the bus pulling out, destination Utah.
One such Prevost Marathon RV sells for anything between $1.5 million and 2.7 million, and it’s safe to assume Justin got the best of the best in terms of fittings and luxury amenities. However, all items include standard features like a generous salon with a fireplace, several flatscreen TVs, a sizeable bedroom with king-size bed, plenty of wardrobe space, marble tops, wooden cabinetry, a two-person sauna and adjoining shower with seating for one.
These RVs aren’t your regular RV, that much goes without saying. They’re more like fancy homes on wheels, and include anything from matching floors and walls, to heated floors, sewer system and barbecue grill in the exterior bay. They finished off in plush fabrics, with plenty of throw pillows and actual fluffy carpets, which makes camping a totally different game than we know it.
The photos in the gallery aren’t of Bieber’s RV, but of 2021 Marathon Coach #1322 off the inventory list from Marathon Coach, which sold recently. Assume Bieber’s is several times fancier than this one.
