Just Another Day in Russia: Helicopter Lands on Highway

Every time there's a little snow coming our way, new stations blast us with warnings. But the Russians have it much worse, driving on inadiquate roads, with no lighting, no barriers and in awful weather conditions.
Just look at the sort of weather they're having to deal with this winter, and consider the fact that some are undertaking the voyage in Ladas.

But that's not the full extent of the story. In the video we're showing you above, a military helicopter lands in the middle of the highway, creating all sort of mayhem.

We think this MI-8 is actually an air ambulance. Sometimes, if countries can't afford dedicated ambulance helicopters, they let hospitals borrow them from the army, pilots and service crews included.

Still, this is not the sort of thing you see every day!

He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
