Juan Uribe’s Off-Season Toy Is a Custom Polaris Razor 4 – Video

As the end of the baseball season is getting closer and closer, MLB stars are getting ready for vacation. While some of them can’t wait to get back home and spend quality time with their family, others make sure all their vehicles are ready for the road. After tuning most of his on-road cars, New York Mets’ infielder Juan Uribe recently took care of his ultimate off-roader too.

It hasn’t been so long since Uribe was traded to the Braves (late May of the 2015 season) and again to the Mets (in July of the same season), but getting accustomed to a new team has never been a problem for this fellow. Juan Uribe has been around for a while now; as long as he has that bat in his right hand nothing can go wrong.

As any successful baseball player in the line, lifestyle reflects his career, which is why he needs to make sure all his rides stay in shape.

In less than six month’s time, the 36-year-old sportsman had not one, but two of his cars refreshed in the shop, and each time it was Miami-based The Auto Firm to manage his requests. This time around, things took a fun detour since we’re discussing the ultimate off-roader.

The Polaris RZR 4 100 EPS may have a dull name, but riding in one is anything but that. We’re looking at a four-person dirt-rider built around a 999 cc, four-stroke DOHC twin cylinder engine that is mated to an automatic transmission.

Put it this way, if you were to buy one for new the conversation with your local dealership would start at $22,300. Add a high-end sound system, custom wheels and interior, and those police-inspired lights Juan Uribe loves so much (he had a similar set installed on his Hummer H1) and you're getting close to muscle car money.

Then again, money is not the issue with these sports celebrities.

We have fun this time of the year... Baseball is almost over, and these guys are just getting new toys to take to their home town for the off season...
