Journalist Crashes Brand-New Yamaha FJR1300A

They say there's two types of bikers: those who've already had their fairs share of nasty things and those who are about to. And yes, it can happen to anyone, regardless of how many years they've spend in the seat... it just happens. So here's Lolo, editor and rider for French Moto Journal, reaching the end of the day's luck and spectacularly crashing a brand-new Yamaha FJR1300A.
Now, dropping a bike is one thing, but seeing Lolo plunge from a tall pier in the harbor of Saint Martin en Re left us breathless. The whole thing was caused by Lolo seemingly forgetting how wide his bike was and hitting his left pannier into a pier, losing balance and simply being forced off the quay.

You can hear the gruesome sound of the bike smashing onto the lower pier and Lolo's head hitting hard against the boat he falls in. Things could have gone worse should he have fallen into the water after hitting his face on the starboard beam. We can only hope he's ok, as no details on his health have been disclosed at the moment of writing.
