The lucky "Graffiti" helmet worn by Jorge Lorenzo to his newest MotoGP victory on Sunday June 16th is up for auction on eBay, and at the time of writing the lid already has 57 bids, with the current price reaching €1,700 ($2,267).
The helmet design was created by Anna Vives, a Catalunya celebrity. Anna is suffering with Down Syndrome and she is a local symbol of will and determination for all those who suffer various medical conditions. Anna was present on the very first step of the podium in Barcelona with Jorge Lorenzo.
The online bidding will run 10 more days and all the proceedings will be donated to helping those diagnosed with the Down Syndrome.
