He may play a character that knows nothing, but being Jon Snow on HBO's massively successful show Game of Thrones has put Kit Harington in the position to lap the legendary Italian GP as the passenger of a tandem Formula One car.
We'll assume that's not the only good thing happening to Kit these days as a result of getting that role, but it's definitely the one we envy him the most for - even though some might think back to Ygritte (played by Rose Leslie) and disagree with that assumption.

Nevertheless, Monza is probably the most atmospheric track to be on of all Formula One races, and we're talking about the stands. Zipping in front of all those fans in a Formula One Experiences two-seater must be an unforgettable experience even for somebody battling frozen undead soldiers on a daily basis.

Set in a large park in a village by the same name not very far from Milano, the Autodromo Nazionale Monza is host to the most fierce fans (or "tiffosi," as they call themselves) in the circuit. The Italians simply go crazy whenever one of the two red Ferraris go by in a manner not very different from what you'd expect to see in a football stadium in England. Only with a lot more hand-gesturing.

Kit and Liam (Cunningham who plays Davos Seaworth) were not in red cars, but since they were alone on the track, they should have received the full blast from the fans. Even for people with their level of notoriety, this was definitely a once in a lifetime opportunity - that's just how exclusive Formula One is.

The only downside to riding in one of these vehicles is that you can't really see too much of what's happening in front - much like the passenger on a bike. But if there you can lean out a bit (at your own peril) and peek over the shoulder of the guy in front, here you are strapped snuggly in, unable to move.

Not that you'd have the strength to do it. We're pretty sure the drivers go easy on their passengers, but even so the g forces felt can't be compared with anything we might be accustomed to out on the road.

The organizers had microphones installed inside the helmets of the two actors to capture their reaction. Well, either they started talking like R2-D2 from Star Wars, or it was all curse words covered by the mandatory beeping. The latter sounds more plausible.
