Earlier this year, alpine ski racer Jon Olsson, who is also a car enthusiasts, visited the Koenigsegg factory and started considering buying one of the carmaker’s extreme creations. He was also considering acquiring a Lamborghini Aventador, but it seems that he actually got himself another car for this winter.
The 2011 racing season will see Olsson ditch last year’s Nissan GT-R and transport his skis on a Lamborghini Gallardo. We don’t know why the Koenigsegg was left behind, but he said the Aventador was still not available. Thus, we got the Lambo in the adjacent images, had it fitted with mods such as a camouflage theme and a ski box, and is ready to put it to work.
“As you all know I have been debating on winter cars for a quite a while. As the seems Aventador seems to taking a while and there has come a few other alternatives into the picture I decided to get something temporary. When I saw the “temporary car” I was actually stoked that the Aventador was running late! I think this this thing tuned out sick! Best of all, no more rental cars!!!! This thing is 100% ready to be driven 50,000km this winter!” the Swedish-born skier said on his website.
