The Gumball 3000 Rally will, once again, gather all kinds of crazy cars to the starting line this year. Amongst them will be this killer creation belonging to Jon Olsson.
His team of designers and mechanics just finished working on this Audi RS6 and the thing looks absolutely mental. Ignore the crazy wrap on it and the luggage case on the roof, the body kit is what asks for more attention than anything.
That's because everything was inspired by the RS5 car that is racing in the DTM. The front fascia gained an unholy-looking bumper and fins as well as wider wheel arches and a ridiculously large rear bumper with what looks like a death trap attached to it. Of course, it's just a diffuser but it definitely feels like it's something else.
The entire thing was made by Caresto and, of course, it is made of carbon fiber exclusively, to add as little weight as possible. This year, the famous free skier's ride will be sponsored by Betsafe so all those letters and red badges have a logical explanation now.
To let people know nobody is playing around with this car and that body kit is not forshow alone, even former Koenigsegg Chief Engineer Leif Tufvesson got involved. Alongside him, Jon also had the guys from Stertman Motorsport doing their best to improve the technical side of things. As if 560 HP weren't enough...
Therefore, the RS6 now has a set of custom 18 karat gold anodized TTE9xx turbochargers mounted on the V8 block allowing the 4-liter engine to make up to 950 HP. Chip in some race gas and that number could go well over 1,000 HP.
