Earlier this month we talked about the practicality issue that comes with supercars. Back then, we showed you a radical solution, in the form of a trailer for the Lamborghini Gallardo. Ok, it was an aerodynamic efficient trailer, with interesting styling cues, but still a trailer.

Now, as the skying season is reaching the full throttle status, we are back to see one that can make a supercar a bit more practical. Today’s proposal comes from Jon Olsson, a Swedish freeskier and alpine ski racer. The X-Games champion has a passion for turning supercars into machines that can cater for his skying-related transportation needs and his latest ride, a Nissan GT-R has recently received such a treatment. Before we present you the skying incarnation of the GT-R, we have to tell you that Olsson is known for his custom Lamborghini Murcielago and Ultima GTR.

The special example of the R35 GT-R uses the “Olsson Winter Edition”. The vehicle, which already comes with a generous luggage space (for its class) when it leaves the factory, now comes with a roof box and features golden decals that create a strong contrast with its black finish. The vehicle was caught on camera by Oskar Bakke.

Olsson just couldn’t resist the temptation to fit the vehicle with a custom exhaust, so Godzilla’s VR36DETT now comes with an even more menacing sound.

The Nissan GT-R "Olsson winter edition"  a perfect touring car (with almost enough space for all the ski equipment) for the winter months between races, with the sound of a jet fighter! This is version nr 1, so i think you can expect some more things to happen to this little thing later in the year…” Olsson wrote on his website.
