More and more automobile companies choose celebrities to act in their commercials as they seem to attract a lot more attention. This is the case of Hyundai and the company’s Super Bowl commercials in which people will be able to see the Big Band Theory star, Johnny Galecki.
It appears that the car company went for Galecki’s “charms” and humourous way-of-being and felt that he is the perfect man for the job.Therefore, just as we’ve been accustomed in the funny TV Series, we'll be able to see the actor trying his best to impress a girl. But, things are not that easy.
He must face a series of challenges, from non-stop talking to explosions and plot twists while driving a 2014 Elantra. Of course the car does the job well and Galecki manages to get through all of them safely, at least until the end of the video. So, the idea of this commercial is to show how nice the 2014 Elantra is and that the vehicle has some nice features such as acceleration, handling, audio and more.
We have to say that is was a good idea to bring Johnny Galecki in, as we can’t help but smile and think “Here he goes again, trying to impress a girl that isn’t at all interested in him.”
