The Rolls Royce Phantom Coupe is a very special car, but it could’ve been even more impressive. What do we mean by that? You’ll get the answer at the upcoming Frankfurt Auto Show, where you’ll be able to meet “Royce”, an example of the car that stars in the movie “Johnny English Reborn” and hides a big surprise under its long hood.
The vehicle will be presented by Rowan Atkinson, who will introduce you to the 9.0-liter V16 engine of the car.
During his appearance as a guest in Top Gear’s reasonably priced car, Atkinson explained that Rolls-Royce originally designed the Phantom to use this engine, but the project got canceled. However, the company had already produced a few such powerplants and when the actor asked the company to place one inside a Phantom Coupe, they were more than happy to fulfill his wish, especially since the car was featured in the aforementioned movie.
