Chelsea captain John Terry has drawn the public's attention when playing off the field once again - this time the footballer ditched his Bentley Continental GT while he was stuck in a traffic jam.
The defender was heading home in his silver Continental GT, when he was caught in traffic on the A3 motorway for over half an hour. He decided to leave the car on the highway and leave the scene, which was 3 miles (5 km) away from his house in Surrey.
Terry called a friend, asking him to take care of the Bentley. He was then picked up by another friend, who drove him home.
The traffic jam had been caused by a man who killed himself by jumping off a bridge. As if this hadn't been enough, a rider crashed into an ambulance that was parked nearby, with the crash causing the man's death.
The player's agent subsequently said that Terry was in a rush to get some, so he had a friend sit in the vehicle and deliver it to the footballer's house later on.
