There are several upgrades for the John Deere Gator XUVs, and one of the niftiest is the addition of a dynamic downhill engine braking system allowing a more controlled descent on steep gradients. A new tight belt continuous variable transmission (CVT) has been developed and will be equipping all the models in the series.

Another handy upgrade is the larger tank, now capable to hold up to 7 gal (26.5 l) of fuel, a 40% increase over the previous model. Even more, a digital fuel level readout will be available on the full-digital dash.

The 2013 series of heavy duty XUVs retains all the great characteristics of the previous models, including the watertight storage and bucket seats. A truly wide range of specialized accessories is available and will let owners add incredible versatility to their 2013 John Deere Gator vehicles. We'll bring you more detailed specs on each model soon.
