Other than Mutts Cuts, there’s not much of a four-wheeled vehicle we can remember seeing the legendary Jim Carrey drive on the road. In fact, last time we checked he was riding a bicycle while wearing a crazy brush somewhere in the desert. He did, however, ride along Jerry Seinfeld in the latest episode of Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee, and we can’t see how he could have refused a ride with the iconic Lamborghini Countach.
Oh. My. Comedy. Yes, two of our favorite comedians in Hollywood’s recent history are in the same car pulling out crazy jokes like nobody else can. There still is about a day of waiting until the entire episode kicks off, but that doesn’t mean we can spoil ourselves with the preview Seinfeld just released.
So here’s what we get from the trailer. Jim Carrey is not used to open the door by its handle. Jerry Seinfeld also owns a 1976 Lamborghini Countach among the tens of rare Porsches we all know he collects. They both have a problem with the pulp in orange juice these days. And if there’s one thing they enjoy most is the pleasure of doing nothing.
Italians call it “dolce far niente”, yet the two great entertainers call it happiness. Sure, they had to go through a lot of hard work, decades of genius jokes and little bits of luck to get there. But watching the trailer you’ll clearly sense the “I don’t give a s^&*” factor.
As to what our interest is concerned, we can’t but tip our hats to these two for setting such a good example for further entertainers to follow.
