Jessica Simpson Dreams of Marrying Dale Earnhardt Jr.

Failed singer-cum-actress-cum-singer-again Jessica Simpson is trying very hard to go country these days. So hard in fact that she has released a country album, started dating a football player and even starred as a gorgeous but not too bright chick in the modern remake of the American classics “The Dukes of Hazzard”.

Now it would seem that Jessica, who's failed at every other attempt of breaking into showbiz, is taking on the NASCAR circuit. After mucking up the NFL - Dallas player Tony Romo had some of the worst games of his professional career while she was in the stands – Jessica has her sights set on Dale Earnhardt Jr. at the moment.

She was down on the track in Charlotte, North Carolina, giving a concert and acting like the pretty but wholesome American girl, when she made an interesting (though the word might not best describe it) confession during an interview. It seems that some time ago, Jessica had a dream about how Dale Earnhardt Jr. proposed to her, and in a tree house on top of all things.

The funny thing is that Jessica confessed she had no clue of what Dale Jr. looked like back then. She didn't say it word for word, but she was kinda disappointed with the real version when she googled pictures with the driver, and confessed that she will stick to the dream version.

Also at the event, Jessica was invited to sing the national anthem and we hear tale that she kinda murdered it. Maybe that has something to do with her failing musical career? Dale Earnhardt didn't comment on the matter yet, but some of his female fans are sure to be booing right now at the prospect of Jessica hooking up with Jr. here.
