World-famous custom bike builder Jesse James may have lost a fingertip, but he has gained a most trustworthy and valuable partner in bike building: Renegade Engine Company Pty Ltd, who will be providing top-class engines for Jesse's future machines.
The two parties have agreed on starting a collaboration whose aim is to provide Jesse's motorcycles with premium Renegade engines and help develop a new range of power units for the future West Coast Choppers machines.

Renegade will offer an 147ci (~2408cc) Diamond Cut V-Twin unit which Jesse will fir in his new CFL (Choppers for Life) frame and future versions branded as Jesse James engines will be derived from the joint efforts of both parties.

Jesse James made public a picture of the Australian power unit on his work bench and added that it will be the perfect test unit for the new CFL frame.

"Jesse James's passion for molding his own ideas into metal creations far from mediocre is well known. I am excited to be associated with the development of a Jesse James V-Twin engine design. I know whatever his thoughts are, we will bring them to fruition in an awesome engine for the custom motorcycle market," Sonny Nugent, Renegade Engine Company Pty Ltd. CEO added.
