Jerez Testing Scheduled - Provisional

With only one day remaining until the official start of the second test of the off-season, at Jerez de la Frontera, most of the teams have already confirmed their drivers' lineup for the 4 days of testing on the Spanish track.

Since the Valencia meeting last week – when only 7 teams attended the first test of the season – three more teams have revealed their single-seaters for the 2010 season of Formula One. Virgin Racing showed their VR-01 last Wednesday, during an online presentation of the team, while Force India released the first pictures of their VJM03 during the course of this morning.

Additionally, Red Bull Racing have also confirmed their presence at the Jerez testing with their RB6 model, although the car is yet to be unveiled to the media. The presentation will likely take place tomorrow morning, before Red Bull's garage at Jerez.

Consequently, there will be 10 teams present at this week's test, all with their official lineups for the 2010 season. Unlike at Valencia, the test/reserve drivers will not get to take the wheel of their team's challengers on track this week.

So here is the order the drivers will test their machines this week, unless internal changes will take place or weather will drop by to cause chaos in the testing calendar:

Ferrari: Fernando Alonso (Wednesday/Thursday), Felipe Massa (Friday/Saturday)
Mercedes GP: Nico Rosberg (Wednesday/Friday), Michael Schumacher (Thursday/Saturday)
